This is the catalogue of Cao Fei's exhibition at Museum Het Domein Sittard in the Netherlands.

Featured in the catalogue are Cao's video projects, Cosplayer, Hip Hop Project - Happiness of the unhappy, and Fatherproject. It also showcases her theatre project for the Guangzhou Triennial PRD Anti-Heroes; and photographs from her Game series and Storage Box series. According to Hou Hanru in his essay, Cao Fei represents a new generation of young and independent urban dwellers that call themselves 'Brand-New Human Beings'. With fondness for individual choice and freedom, these 'Brand-New Human Beings' enjoy taking risk and adventure and challenging all established rules and morality. Cao's videos cover a wide range of subject matter, closely related to the everyday life of the Brand-New Human Beings but expressing profound concerns about social changes. Inspired by both advertisements and experimental films, Cao Fei has developed a highly personal visual idiom that juxtaposes fantasy, desire, criticism and jouissance with changing reality.

Also included in the catalogue are artist biography and artist statements.
