Showing at Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Ithaca, 'Lines of Control' features videos, photographs, prints, paintings, sculptures, and installations by 33 international artists and groups that touch on issues arising from partitioned areas: India and Pakistan, North and South Korea, Sudan and South Sudan, Israel and Palestine, Ireland and Northern Ireland, Armenia and its diaspora, as well as questions of indigenous sovereignty in the United States. The accompanying catalogue includes essays by 14 contributors and artist biographies.
