Ai-Chen Lee was born in Taiwan in 1972. After graduating from the National Institute of the Arts in Taipei, she further studied painting in the States, and obtained her M.F.A at the Long Island University in New York. Since her graduation in 1997, she has been actively painting and presenting her works, e.g. a solo exhibition at Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 1999, followed by a lot of solo shows on and off the island after 2000. This catalogue includes, aside from an essay by Chia Chi Jason Wang, a perspective of her works from her school time and brief biography of the artist. All texts are provided in both Chinese and English.
