Open Platform is the fourth annual edition of 'meetings without walls' held at AAA’s booth during Art Basel's show in Hong Kong that enables critical dialogue around recent art in Asia. Cultural practitioners from all disciplines gather to discuss and debate on topics of interest in the field. Meetings will be held at AAA booth daily in the afternoons from 22-26 Mar 2016.

Selected from an open call that invited Hong Kong-based creative practitioners to create the AAA booth, architect COLLECTIVE designed the 2016 edition. AAA is a Cultural Partner of the 2016 Hong Kong edition of Art Basel.

Recent exhibitions include a survey of her photographs at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art, Singapore (2015), and a new project made for the Dhaka Art Summit (2016). Gill showed at the Australian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (2013), documenta 13 (2012), and documenta 12 (2007). 15 Invitations is a special programme series featuring exhibitions, projects, written works, performances, a blog, and publication marking Asia Art Archive’s 15-year anniversary. AAA’s e-journal-turned blog Field Notes and a set of dossiers trace each invitation to document the process, resulting in a final print publication. From 21 March to April, Mumbai-based artist Shilpa Gupta presents ‘That photo we never got’, a research-based exhibition stemming from its initial iteration at the 2015 India Art Fair that explores friendship and love in the field of art. Other 15 Invitations participants include Nonny De la Pena, Hu Fang & Zhang Wei, Walid Raad, ruangrupa, Wong Wai Yin, and many others.
