Typed manuscript for the lecture titled 'What is Wrong with Nostalgia?' that artist K.G. Subramanyan delivered as part of the Navyug Acharya Memorial Lecture series held in Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, in February 1990.

This was the fourth lecture in a series of five that Subramanyan had given that year. The series of Navyug Acharya Memorial Lectures was organised under the auspices of Calcutta University.

The text was subsequently published as an essay in K.G. Subramanyan's book The Creative Circuit by Seagull Books, Calcutta, in 1992.

K.G. Subramanyan had delivered five lectures for the Navyug Acharya Memorial Lecture series held in Santiniketan in February 1990.
