The VCD contains a video introducing activities organized by The Artist Village, which was founded by Tang Da Wu in his kampung-studio in Ulu Sembawang in 1988 and was registered as a non-profit society in February 1992 with the goals of promoting contemporary art practices and their contributions to society.
