This article reviews Memorial Project Vietnam, Jun Nguyen-Hatsushiba's exhibition at the UC Berkeley Museum of Art on through June 29, 2003.   Two underwater films deal with Vietnam: Happy New Year -- Memorial Project Vietnam II can be interpreted in light of the Tet Offensive, and Towards the Complex --For the Courageous, the Curious and the Cowards, are about "not the boat people, but the others who were left behind."
