This monograph was published in conjunction with the Centenary Retrospective exhibition of Benodebehari Mukherjee (1904-1980), held from December 2006 to February 2007. It features a wide selection of the artist's work in watercolour, ink, tempera etc in the format of large scrolls, screens from 1921 to 1957, along with a complete catalogue and timeline of his life. It also covers the period of post-blindness when Mukherjee concentrated on series of paper cuts, drawings, prints and some sculptures. The book includes 355 colour and 28 black & white images.
