Solo exhibition of paintings by English-born Malaysian artist, Yusof Majid, held at the Valentine Willie, 22 April to 15 May 2004, Kuala Lumpur. Majid took the title, "best beloved" from Rudyard Kipling's "How the Whale Got His Throat" in the Just So Stories, and his paintings, in a sense, is a dedication to "the freedom and happiness of a child's imagination." Images such as 'Circle Line' and 'The Birthday Party' are rooted in the tradition of nursery tales. Includes a conversation piece between the artist and Beverley Yong.
