Busan Biennale 2010 was held from 11 September to 20 November at various locations in Busan, Korea, including the Busan Museum of Art, Busan Yachting Center and Gwangalli Beach. Artistic Director Takashi Azumaya, with the assistance of curatorial advisors, organized the main exhibition titled 'Living in Evolution', which sought to examine the connection between individual lives and the evolving trajectory of human civilization. It featured 161 artworks by 72 artists from 23 countries. For this edition, the Contemporary Art Exhibition, Sea Art Festival, and Busan Sculpture Project, previously held separately, were combined.

This catalogue outlines the planning direction of Busan Biennale 2010 and includes images of the exhibited works with explanations. Artist biographies included.
