This is a piece of article written on a project entitled Children's Field which was produced by the American School in Japan (ASIJ) and Artist Residence Tokyo (A.R.T.).

The students at ASIJ were inspired by Antony Gormley's Asian Field shown in Roppongi in Japan in 2004, in which 156,000 clay figures made by 350 people of all ages in a village in Guangzhou were placed together as an installation piece.
