Chenping DAWN has been working with a wide array of materials since his first solo exhibition in 1980. Most of his works, as a result, are situated on the border of the two- and three-dimension. This monograph includes his works from the 1990s ranging from silkscreen on mirror to big-scaled sculpture made with a discarded car. An essay by Liao Jenyi, an artist statement with a self analysis of works divided into three periods and a biography are included in both Chinese and English. A limited edition print is bound into the book.
