This is the monograph of Beijing-based performance and conceptual artist Cang Xin. He has been active since the mid 90s, when he was part of the 'East Village' community of experimental artists that became notorious for the physicality of their performance work. This book includes essays by a number of well-known critics and curators, images of the artist's works from the early 1990s to 2002, sketches and drawings, and a biography.
