This material was published in conjunction with the exhibition of the same title. Receiving a grand prize for the print division of the Sao Paulo Biennale in 1967, Fukita continued to produce large scale prints that are beyond the traditional form of woodcut prints.

This exhibition brings together 200 works by the artists, ranging from his earliest prints to his latest creations. It also displays documents and other source materials. A chronology of the artist is provided in the catalogue.

Includes articles by Tadayasu Sakai, Tadao Ogura, Hideo Tomiyama, Asahiko Yamamoto, Toshio Takeuchi and Yumi Murakami.
