Published in conjunction with 'Glorious Romanticism: Commemorative Exhibition of Lo Ching-yun,' a major career retrospective of Taiwanese artist and educator Lo Ching-yun (1934-1995). This two-volume book narrates the development of his creative practices, beginning with the early surrealist paintings in the 1960s, and concluding with his final graphite drawings that portray the life and culture in Taiwan in the 20th century. Featured in the first volume are the paintings in ink, watercolour and oils, while Volume Two focuses on Lo's drawings of the 1990s. Includes essays by David Wang Teh-yu, Chuang Po-ho, Chen Shui-tsai, Hsiao Chiung-jui and Hsu Lin-lin. With artist chronology.
