The theme of the 30th Anniversary Exhibition of the Hong Kong Arts Centre, which took place in August 2008, was inspired by the centre’s building itself, which was designed by architect Tao Ho in 1977. A dozen artists of different generations and media, such as Gaylord Chan, Wucius Wong, and Chan Lai-kiu, were invited to take part in the exhibition.
