A 2008 interview with Tommy Li Wing-Cheun about the state of contemporary design in Hong Kong. He argues that the commercial art industry has become stagnant, as companies want the cheapest artist and the government will only promote big names. He also ‘70/80,’ an annual design exchange he began: 15 designers born in the 1970s and 1980s were invited from Hong Kong, China, and Japan to take turns running exhibitions in the three places.
