At Le Magasin Centre National d’Art Contemporain of Grenoble, in southeastern France, 'JapanCongo' is an exhibition in which colorful African works are juxtaposed with the new-media Japanese art. The works are from the private art collection of Jean Pigozzi. Through Carsten Hoeller’s exercise of curating the show, not only different artistic techniques are revealed, but also contrasting social views from different regions are emphasized.
