The exhibition catalogue for 'Lucky Number Seven' is meant to be an extension of the Biennial, rather than a document. Lance M. Fung has always viewed the collaborative work of the artists as the real 'art' and the works being created for the Biennial as the byproduct of their experience, or as artifact. Consequently, the artists' section in the catalogue consists of pages designed by the actual artists instead of being conceived around them accompanied with the standard biographical material. In fact, some of these contributions may in and of themselves be considered as artworks designed around the concepts of 'Lucky Number Seven'.
