'Born in Japan to a Vietnamese father and Japanese mother, Nguyen-Hatsushiba studied art in the United States before moving to Vietnam, where he currently lives. He is one of a growing number of artists who have experienced life in a number of different cultures and who integrate those experiences into their work. These artists reflect new age of multiculturalism' - Fumio Nanjo.

The present publication is the catalogue of Nguyen-Hatsushiba's solo exhibition at the Mori Art Museum, featuring his new work, Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas: Battle of Easel Point — Memorial Project Okinawa. Colours plates of the new work and his previous works are provided. Artist's biography can be found in the back of the catalogue.
