The four Hong Kong artists presented in the exhibition, 'Moving Violations', had been engaged in defining the identity of a city and their relationship to contemporary life in a city through the actions of 'travelling' or 'walking'. Making use of a variety of media, their works bring new insights to traditional reading of a city. The accompanying essays, providing perceptive and thorough analysis of the art works, further open up a discussion on the theme of travel as it relates to visual art. Artist biographies are included. With a foreword by Claire Hsu, Executive Director of the Asia Art Archive.
