In the fall of 2011, Artcourt Gallery, Osaka, Japan organised an exhibition titled 'Saburo Murakami: Focus on the 70s' in an effort to re-examine the artist's career by looking into the seven solo shows he held during the 1970s. This book resulted from that exhibition and features a variety of documentary materials including the artist' writings and an interview with the artist.  With colour or black-and-white images of Murakami's works and performances, list of works, chronology, and selected bibliography.
