Trained in Chinese calligraphy and painting, the works in the present monograph of Cheng Ming were also inspired by Western ways in delineating volume, light, space and colours. This publication serves as a record of Cheng’s artistic development from 1974-1984. With prefaces by Liu Kuo-song and Wucious Wong, and a foreword by and a biography of the artist.
