Catalogue of Jiang Dahai's solo exhibition at Alisan Fine Arts in 2006. Jiang belongs to the third generation of Chinese artists who settled in France. Using both dry and wet brushstrokes and rice paper, he reconstructed Chinese characters/images, which resulted in what some critics term "conceptual calligraphic lyricism". Artist biography is provided in the catalogue.
