This article reviews ‘Desperately Seeking Paradise,’ an exhibition by 11 Pakistani artists at Art Dubai 2008. Many of the works convey anger toward political issues in Pakistan and the Middle East, and the author concludes that the strong emotions expressed enrich the fair.
