This is a monograph documenting the oil paintings of Chinese artist Cui Xiuwen, created in 1996-1997. Being seen as a representative of the feminist artists born in the 1970s, Cui was trying to seek the sense of selfconsciousness in women in her creative process. More detailed description can be found in the accompanying essays. Artist biography is included.
