A review of an exhibition, 'Dreaming in Public', at the Soulflower Gallery in Bangkok in 2009. Four artists from Thailand and India burrow into the unconscious to explore the overlap of dreaming states in personal and public contexts. The artist's differing cultural backgrounds result in diverse ideas and combinations of materials; layering of tapestry to form sculpture, cut vinyl installation on the floor, painting combined with photography and video and light-box pieces.
