Jewyo Rhii makes books and artworks about being small, weak and emotionally repressed. Two is the third of her picture books for weak people and their insufficiencies, following Once You Lie Down and Warming and Humidifying. The drawings depict ways in which one person can serve as a comforting apparatus for another when they experience aches and pains. Reflecting the artist's own experiences, it suggests that two people can gain mutual relief from physical ailments with minimal effort, such as by positioning their bodies in certain ways.
