Hong Kong artist Tozer Pak Sheung-chuen will represent Hong Kong in the 53rd Venice Biennale in summer 2009. His solo exhibition is entitled, "Making [Perfect] World: Harbour, Hong Kong, Alienated Cities and Dreams." Curated by former Para/Site director Tobias Berger, the exhibition will be comprised of four site-specific installations that focus on the artist's efforts to understand himself better and how he adapts to a foreign culture. Berger and Pak have a budget of HK3.7 million from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council with which to work.
