Wucius Wong describes his art in the present catalogue:

'I can say my art has been built on four cornerstones- literature, design, traditional Chinese art and Western modernism- although explorations in each of these fields are limited, restricted to what captures my attention. My feelings may have come from a poet's heart, my compositions may reflect a designer's eye, my ideas may be based on traditional Chinese painting, while my forms may relate to contemporary Western art.'

The present publication marked the coming home (Hong Kong) of Wong in 1997, when a solo exhibition of the above title was held at Plum Blossoms Gallery in both Hong Kong and Singapore, showcasing paintings produced during 1996-1997. Artist's biography as well as information on collections and publications are included.
