Context

This talk was organised during K.G. Subramanyan's stay in Oxford in 1988 when he had his solo exhibition titled 'K.G. Subramanyan: Fairy Tales of Oxford and Other Paintings' at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford. The exhibition was organised by curator David Elliott, and ran from 21 February 1988 to 3 April 1988. Subramanyan had spent over two months in Oxford that year as Christiansen Fellow at St. Catherine's College, Oxford.
