Guillermo writes in great detail of the sculptures in Junyee's latest exhibition at Galleria Duemila in Pasay City.  He created larger-than-life figures of Ifugao males under the title "Siete Pecados."   The figures capture the indigenous Cordillera form and physiognomy and the postures of the bulol, but some of the designs on the body and their modern accoutrements are an ironic modern twist on the form.  Depending on your point of view, the result is a cultural clash or a cultural hybridity where the indigenous is revitalized.
