Published in conjunction with an ongoing research project initiated in 2001 by The Laboratory at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art at the University of Oxford and the New York Academy of Art. The project aims to examine some of the issues surrounding fine art education in Britain and the United States. This publication provides a synopsis of the findings from the first phase of the project which focuses on the British perspective.
