Published in conjunction with the group exhibition at Saffronart and The Guild in New York, 16 September–1 October 2009. Featuring works by 18 artists from India, ranging from large-scale paintings and installations to sculptures and interactive videos, the show looks at the 'negotiations and struggles of present-day life, across the various stages on which it plays out, from the intimate to the public, the village to the megalopolis'.

With essays by Santhosh S. and V. Divakar. Images are accompanied by short introductions to each artist and their biographical information.
