The aim of 'Another Expo' is to create an art exhibition which is free from the structure of 'nation-state'. With the historical significance of the Expo in mind, Shinya Watanabe organized the exhibition with eight artists who question this very structure of 'nation-state'. The main exhibition in New York opens to the public on August 15, the day Japan unconditionally surrendered to Allied forces. Images of works are accompanied by indivdual texts.

Other participating artists include Marina Abramovic, Sejla Kameric, Ines Pais, Nebojsa Seric-Shoba
