This is the catalogue of the exibition which comprises materials and models relating to urbanism, architecture and art assembled over a 13-year period by the Fondation Regional d'Art Contemporain - Centre Regional, Orleans (the FRAC Centre), augmented in part by items from the Pompidou Centre and materials on various Japanese architects. It traces changes in thinking about arhitecture, urbanism and art, and intentionally steers away from introducing individual creators' works. A few proposals for art museums are featured.
