This catalogue reviews the fourth ARCUS Project (1998), which aims to communicate with local residents via art and cultural programmes.
For the artist-in-residence programme of the project, six artists from six different countries were invited to stay and create artworks in the ARCUS Studio for four months from the end of August through December 1998. Later on the artists held workshops to the public, so as to interact with the local residents in the medium of art.
Featured in this catalogue are outline of the project events, profiles of the participating artists and reviews of their activities at ARCUS.
