This catalogue reviews the eleventh ARCUS Project (2005), which aims to communicate with local residents via art and cultural programmes. The project is comprised of four parts: the artist-in-residence programme, the internship programme, the communication programme and art seminars.

For the artist-in-residence programme of the project, five artists (Ruby Osorio, Chen Yi-Chieh, Ayaz Hussain Jokhio, Jonathan Hernandez and Hikaru Fujii) from five different countries were invited to stay and create artworks in the ARCUS Studio.

Featured in this catalogue are outline of the project events, profiles of the participating artists, reviews of their activities at ARCUS, details of Special Project 'Moriya Pavilion' by Thai artist Tawatchai Puntsawasdi, and documentation of the internship program organised by Katsuhiko Hibino, art seminars and communication programmes. With short texts by Fumiio Nanjo and Aki Hoashi.
