This book compiles 19 collated essays written by Huang Kuang Nan when he was a curator, regarding his reflection on art works, his friendship with artists, and biographies and literature of some of the artists. Huang's position as a curator, the principal of the National Taiwan University of Arts, and a teacher, exposes him to numerous artists. He himself is also an ink artist. With such a unique background and perspective, he discusses artists' works and art spirits and how they are full of aspirations and the capability of aesthetic creation.
