"Santo Sebastian"  is a group exhibition in Bacolod City's San Sebastian Cathedral that focuses on the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian. The exhibition is a "pre-diamond year exhibition, a prelude to next year's celebration of the 75th year of the Diocese of Bacolod."  Various Filipino artists contributed paintings of Saint Sebastian. Israel Gonzales and Tristam Miravalles contributed figurative works. While Saint Sebastian is said to have been killed during the anti-Christian persecutions of the 3rd century, some artists have taken his image of martyrdom and set it against a contemporary backdrop of today's struggles and modern wars.
