Book published on the occasion of an artist residency program 'Tropic of Cancer' held in 13 communities from 10 townships in Chiayi County, Taiwan in 2007.
Participating artists include Yaojun Wang, Yanling Lin, Chianglong Tsai, Suhuei Wu, Bingwen Wang, Wensheng Tsai, Monbaza, Iching Hong, Yenmei Ke, Chiayu Lin, Kelly Chen, Peichi Wu, Chienfang Yang, Wenyuan Huang, Shunlung Chung, Denglu Wang, Chihung Cheng, Yingchien Tsai, Juan Wu, Siaojing Zhao, Mingshi Lu, Yingjie Tsai, Fuchang Tsai, Julie Chou, Suhua Rong, Mingshi Lu, Siaomei Wen, Wenwen Wu, Yoongchia Chang, and Mingwah Teoh.
The book includes an introduction of the project framework written by Mali Wu, curatorial essay by Hungyi Chen and review by Iming Chien. Writings by artists and representatives from each community as well as transcripts of three talks held during the program are provided (in Chinese only).
