First organised in 2002, the annual Asahi Art Festival organises various community-led art projects in collaboration with art-related NPOs in communities across Japan with the support of Asahi Breweries Ltd.  This book documents the Higure School Project, one of the programmes of the Asahi Art Festival in 2004.  The project focused on art management issues through review and valuation of various art projects of the Asahi Art Fesrival. Introduction by Taneo Kato.
