The National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo and Kyoto, together with Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art presents a retrospective tracing Aso Saburo (1913 - 2000)'s artistic career. Presenting 134 works of oils, drawings and three-dimensional works spanning from 1934 to 1994, the exhibition and the accompanying catalogue chronicles the legacy of the Japanese artist with essays, comprehensive chronology and bibliography.
The exhibition is held from November to December 2010 at The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo; January to February 2011 at The National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto; and April to June 2011 at Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art.
