'Through showcasing the exploration of different issues in the works of four artists - Claire Lim, Tan Wee Lit, Jeremy Hiah and Benjamin Puah - this exhibition confronts the notion of trusting one's own unassuming perceptions of truth and reality. In fact, it questions modernity and contemporary notions that seeing and perception are objective and unadulterated by biases. Ideas regarding the nature of freedom in art as well as the belief that an artist is allowed to "trust one's own unassuming but unacerbated intuitions of truth and reality" are also put to the test.' - Tay Sweelin, curator of the exhibition.

The present catalogue includes artist statements, biographies, as well as comments on each of the artists' works by Tay Sweelin.
