'The Magic of Photography' aims to shed light on how photography, which is usually regarded as a medium of reproducing reality, has developed and expanded as an art form. Around 50 works by 14 active young artists are showcased in this exhibition, and they encompass photographs, paintings, three-dimensional art, and videos. These works show how the development of digital technology and the changes in the media environment influence photography and the important role of photography in modern art. The exhibition was curated by Hye-young Kim of Art Park and was on view at the Museum of Photography, Seoul from August to October 2009.
