'The volume contains 35 essays- 19 in English and 16 in Bangla, contributed by scholars from both home and abroad. Among the foreign contributors are distinguished archaeologists and researchers from India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Pakistan and the USA, while the local contributors include senior scholars as well as young researchers and museum officials. The thematic areas covered by the papers are quite varied but all are related to departments representing the National Museum collection and museum interests in general.
