This catalogue is published to accompany the solo exhibition 'Circles in my mind' by Pacita Abad, organised by Singapore Tyler Print Institute(STPI). Pacita is the third artist in STPI's Visiting Artists Programme. It is said that Pacita's nomadic lifestyle over the past quarter century has enabled her to immerse herself in many different cultures and people, and had shaped the style of her works which bears vibrant colours, exotic qualities and rich textures.
At STPI, Pacita had created over 50 exhilarating works utilising the techniques of lithography, intaglio, relief printing, silkscreen and hand-coloured paper pulp.
