This catalogue accompanies the group exhibition of the same title held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo in 2009. With the process of cutting, pasting and synthesizing words and images becoming ever more commonplace thanks to the development of digital technologies, this exhibition aims to introduce a few aspects of the various developments brought about by 'collage' technique. It features approximately 30 works from the museum's own collection. Includes a curatorial introduction and list of works.
