This publication is a monograph of Wang Jian's selected paintings spanning two decades from 1988 to 2008. Wang Jian is a China-born painter who migrated to and studied in the United States, and returns to China in the recent years.

Wang's work depicts landscape, portraiture, and still life using oil on canvas. The monograph features his work created from 1988 to 2006 during his stay in the United States, as well as from 2007 to 2008 after his return to Beijing.

Includes essays, artist interview, and artist biography.
