Painter Li Chun-Shen (1921–1984) is considered one of the most important figures in Taiwan art history. In memory of his dedication to art education and and promotion of modern art, his students established the Chun-Shen Li Modern Painting Foundation in 1985. Since 1989, Chun-Shen Li Foundation Modern Painting Awards have been given every other year with two categories: Achievement Awards and Talent Awards. This catalogue, published in conjunction with the exhibition at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taichung from March to May 2010, features works by Li Chun-Shen and past award winners.

Includes Chun-Shen Li Modern Painting Foundation chronology and artists' biographies (both sections are in Chinese only).
